This season Persephone will again be offering 15 productions - six on the mainstage, three Deep End productions, four Youth Presentation shows and two shows touring provincially with the SaskTel Youth Tour. The 2009 - 2010 Season offers something for everyone with a mix of styles, time periods and subjects. The mainstage series is evenly divided into musicals, dramas and comedies, including a musical adaptation of a loved childhood novel, a new comedy by a popular Saskatchewan writer and the theatrical adaptation of a very personal and powerful novel written by Saskatoon's own Martha Blum.
The Deep End Series will present a world première of a comedy by a burgeoning local playwright. Also offered is an enchanting production brought to fruition by the designer of last season's Frankenstein and a tale of murder told from a uniquely watery perspective.
