Persephone Theatre Capital Campaign
Persephone Theatre has nearly completed the most ambitious production in its 32-year history.
The goal of Building on a River of Dreams is simple: create a space that will not only enhance this theatre company, but the cultural and physical landscape of Saskatoon. A shining new theatre complex on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River will be the hub of cultural activity in Saskatoon and the cornerstone of the revitalization of the core of our community.
This production has been years in the making. Thank you to the federal, provincial and municipal governments and the Frank and Ellen Remai Foundation for their generous commitments to this project. The curtain is starting to rise on Building on a River of Dreams.
This new facility is not only serving Persephone, but the entire arts community in the Saskatoon region. Musicians, dancers, amateur theatre players, multicultural performers, and more will cross Persephone's stages, enhancing the arts in Saskatoon for generations to come.
