Director

Last season, Ann directed Strike! for Persephone and is thrilled to return to direct Beauty and the Beast.  Ann’s credits include Prairie Theatre Exchange, Manitoba Theatre Centre, Neptune Theatre, Shaw Festival, Vancouver Opera, Manitoba Opera, and Pacific Opera.  In addition to directing, Ann has also written a number of opera libretti, including Vancouver Opera’s acclaimed production of Naomi’s Road.  Later this season, Ann will direct Quarry at Persephone, The Barber of Barkerville for Vancouver Opera and Urinetown for Winnipeg’s Dry Cold Productions. Ann dedicates her work on this show to Tibor, who provided such a fine example of passion and humanity in an artist.
