Director

Ann directed Strike! for Persephone last season, and Beauty and the Beast this season. Her credits include Prairie Theatre Exchange, Manitoba Theatre Centre, Neptune Theatre, Shaw Festival, Vancouver Opera, Manitoba Opera, and Pacific Opera. In addition to directing, Ann also writes opera libretti, including Vancouver Opera’s acclaimed production of Naomi’s Road. Later this season, Ann directs The Barber of Barkerville for Vancouver Opera, and Urinetown for Winnipeg’s Dry Cold Productions. Ann is honoured to have been part of the inaugural season in the new building, and wishes to give a standing ovation to the Staff and Board of Persephone who have worked so hard to make Tibor’s vision come true.
