Violin

Kim is a violin, viola and fiddle performer and teacher. With the Saskatoon Symphony, Kim has served as assistant concertmaster, principal second violin, principal viola, and section viola player. She also enjoys combining different styles of folk and classical music to create a unique sound. Since releasing her CD Kindred Spirits, Kim has been featured on CBC Radio's Disc Drive and will be heard later this year on Canada Live. Kim lives in Saskatoon with her husband Terry Heckman (principal trumpet with the Saskatoon Symphony) and their two year old son Hunter.
