Del and I have a long history of fruitful collaboration so to be able to work again with him at Persephone is indeed a wonderful opportunity. Designing a Beckett production presents a unique creative challenge for the designer. I hope you enjoy the evening and that you find we have remained true to intent of the playwright. Shows last season in Vancouver included, the heavy metal production of Richard III at Studio 58, Rabbit Hole for the Arts Club, Tiny Apocalypse for Rough House, Twelve Night and King Lear on the main stage at Bard on the Beach and The 8th Land for Pi Theatre. In Victoria David designed The Violet Hour for the Belfry Theatre. David earned an MA in Scenography in 2002 at London's Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and DAMU, Prague. He is a member of ADC and is most passionate about the role of the designer as a key player in authoring work.
