Del Surjik was the very first person Mark met in the University of Saskatchewan Drama Department after switching from the College of Engineering. Shortly after, he met Ralph and Chip, and then took classes from Henry. It is amazing to be working with all these school colleagues while having a chance to work on Waiting for Godot, one of the seminal plays of the contemporary theatre and now marking the beginning of a very important chapter in Persephone Theatre's history. In addition to designing lights, Mark is the Artistic and Executive Director of Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan.
