Kindness

Tessa, Damon, and Keegan share the same band class and the same passion… their pets. When Tessa loses her beloved dog, the event challenges and transforms both the children and the adults in their lives. From Hurricane Katrina to everyday encounters with the school bully, this play offers an unforgettable lesson in compassion. What a great show to kick off the season! This play is set in an innovative theatrical environment and is a compelling story with surprisingly humorous turns and a fantastic kid appeal. With its stunning use of puppetry and video projection, as well as skilled writing, this production will expose young audiences to a whole new world. Foon knows exactly how to weave issues into theatre that deal with topics which matter to students and teachers and Manitoba Theatre for Young People is one of the best producers for youth in the country.
